highlights of the evening:
-planned on going to the grad, but the show was 21+.
-got (fictional) mexican food in vacaville
-bar plans foiled again by our age.
-went to a party at sachi's house, veronica, seta and laura left 5 minutes after we got there because they said they felt "out of place."
-i met up with a lot of people i havent seen in a while, i rubbed a vibrator on taylors face.
-seta came and picked me up, then we went back to the club where veronica and laura were getting molested on the dance floor.

A: really really really fun! it was great, i especially enjoyed the sleeping bag game, maybe someday i shall participate. its 1:51pm! i didnt sleep last night! so right now, this is how i feel: i really want to be productive and do my laundry, but the tired-ness just hit me, hard. like a slap in the face. not really though, because that wouldnt make very much sense. i still want to sleep though. we'll see. thanks to ben for having us over for like...12 hours. ha.

tonight was really fun. well no, today was really good. i went up to city to shop on haight st, with a minor stop to visit sal. haight was good, i didnt end up buying much but i enjoyed walking around.
for new years eve, rachael, chevelle, james and i went up to nicoles 1924 party. it was really fun, there were silent movies on the tv, lots of cool people and a gi-normous bag of popcorn (yeah it was totally mungo). a while after midnight, jon moyer, jeff mock, brad johnson, and paulie came over. i was really happy to see all of them (brad johnson always brightens my day!) but paulie was the most enthusiastic and i ended up talking to him the most. rachael and chevelle both got drunk. rachael got giggly-drunk, but chevy got pukey-drunk, which was no good. we drove back, james drove her to her house while i went and picked up japhy and jason to drive them over to take care of her. i hope shes doing ok, she seemed to be better, so yay.
all in all it was a really good new years. i got to see a lot of my friends and i learned a lot of good stuff. im in a pretty good mood right about now. fuckin' jazz.
oh yeah, and this morning i got a bit bored and cut myself some bangs. total bangage. i like 'em. i love hugs.

cool, i love that song.
i spent the last hour or so figuring out the second solo part of even better yet, and making sure i was comfortable with all the parts (vocals, solos, rhythm guitar, etc). why, you ask? hey rachael! hey james! we have to get together with susie and have another band practice, and i think we should do even better yet! its a great song and i think a cover of it is very feasible, and i would love to have one done. and, on the subject of format covers: jay! youre out of town right now, but i think we should really make that cover of "at the wake" happen. i think it would be fuckin' jazz. and the way i see it, these are the options, as far as the recording/drums go:
-get james to actually synthesize the drums on his computer and use the sound recording program he has.
-do without the fancy sound program, get together with susie (or chelsea? i have no idea) and use a low-tech (but portable) recording system, maybe i could borrow japhy's thing that he has...
-try to get a recording of the drum part from susie or whoever, and then try to get that somehow put into the song on a computer. hmm, this one sounds weird.
so.......yeah. im using my own livejournal as a message board and im going to sleep now because its 7:30am.
